Anthony Geathers is a Brooklyn-born photographer known for his iconic and emotionally resonant images of some of America’s most notable figures.

Raised in Bedford-Stuyvesant, he discovered photography in seventh grade and has since honed his craft through years of study and experience, earning a BFA in Photography and Video from the School of Visual Arts. Blending commercial, portrait, and photojournalistic styles, Geathers brings depth, power, and purpose to every frame—cementing his voice as a visual historian of Black life and culture.
